The Mocking SquirrelWalking to the Coffee shop, this squirrel just laid right on the branch next to my head and started doing the click click click sound the make when pissed or doing a warning. I "Clicked" back ,not speaking squirrel, and it still stayed stretched out like that was a spa or some lounge chair!
He cocked his head and looked at my camera and than looked away uninterested. I swear he was laughing at me. I think he was mocking me! HA! Silly thing... He was still stretched out on his limb as I flipped him off (the neighbors probably thinking I AGAIN had lost it --or was drinking Absinthe once again) and i clicked ,snapped another picture in defiance of that damn rodent and walked away. These city squirrels are just pushing it. :-) |

thats really strange usually they run away
the last one i encountered threw things which i think were seed pods or at least bits of trees at my head and it hurt
he's a great colour
He also would come in my kitchen on this little ledge and eat my bread. Jacko would wake me up chirping and clicking if the window was closed. He had chewed the screen open. He also raised about 2 sets of babies that never were allowed to come up to let us touch them put they could eat from our hands .ONLY me and Breanna were allowed to touch him. Breannna cried when we moved. This squirrel was cocky like Jacko!
You work too hard anyway my friend. You need a lounge in the tree day and stare at the cute girls going by! Your picture made me sad as i remember that! I will say MY kind of Prayers for the familes!
Really? You think he might have been drunk looking at the pic? he was not acting 'right" and I must admit that if he was not being so calm I would have thought(since we are inner city) rabies!
