(coincidentally i posted a photo of my son giving the finger the other day, only he had a huge GRIN on his face!)

kiastar67: 07/22/2008 7:45 PM [view in context]
Just the pants that are like leggings that split at the thing and have a shirt like thing at the top. The necklace that connects to the braclet that you can't see also. We just got the shirts today from japan and I got the box from Auckland ,new Z. but it is at the PO.

liveandlove: 07/22/2008 8:16 PM [view in context]
is she wearing a Motorhead shirt? i love those pants.

kiastar67: 07/22/2008 8:28 PM [view in context]
I think it is a SHRINE "Destroyed" shirt! The back says,"Fuck art lets dance and has a woman with tassels on her boobs.HA! She likes weird shirts like one with a person hanging from a dead tress and a little pony tail girl seing under the dead body. I think it is shock value so I pretend i am not shocked (and really I am not.She is her own person) and she gets weirder shirts. Often she has to turn them inside out or she will protest because rappers get to wear pimpin shirts and NOTHING is said.I allow her to fight her right to artistic show and entgrity, etc.

The pants are SeX PoT ReVeNGe
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/apparel/sexpot.html
SEX POT ReVeNGe
JAPANESE NEW PUNK BRAND
SEX POT ReVeNGE is Japanese new punk brand based out of Harajuku, Tokyo and is a fashion brand known for its frequent appearances in KERA magazine. As a fashion brand, they work heavily with artists in the Japanese music scene, collaborating with artists for new fashion items and by producing their own free music magazine
The Pants are from KERA
Look, I was not ging to do this BUT..these shorts sell in stores in the US for 100.00+ IF you can get them. SPR JUST got an English translator so people that do NOT speak Japanese can order.

It is about 2900yen (3045yen Tax incl) or US$ 26.77..for a shirt
They ahve many other things too!

Aw thanks! I figure she will do it anyway so why not have her be creative with some support so it can be POSITIVE and not negative. Shit,we still have our arguements and the like but she is a really creative kid and it teaches respect while she learns to give it.

I like moms that think like that :) Mine is slowly transforming into one. That or either I'm more mature and I'm starting to see her side as well. But basically, you're just the best mom and she's very lucky! You tell her I said that :))

I will, thanks! How old are your kiddos again? It sounds like we kinda think alike as parents? Some OTHER parents that are strict and Do as I say always and never question(thats a good way to have your kid get in an abusive realtionship or molsted, unable to think or talk for themselves and waiting for an adult to bail them out) I do my best but i screw up a lot. She was REALLY angry and pissed and acted out when I went through Chemo . She is such a smart kid with that Highly Gifted and talanted and they wanted to put her in High school at age 10 but I knew she would NEVER make it SOCIALLY. I am really worried about her social abilities.

Anyway, i got off on a rant(whats new) I will tell her! thansk

My folks too and in the south but only because THEY ,espically my mom, growing up were the perfect kids. I was also not in the US that much, always traveling and staying with different "people" that had totally different cultural norms than westernized ones. I allow her to do things that many parents would say,"No way" but trust has been earned(and I am aware that she is 14 and WILL make bad choices!) They must learn to be adults that can think critically!

oh, no, I was talking about my mom when I said "mine" :)) cause I'm barely 19, so no kids for me :) But I'm gonna be that type of mother, if I can :) I'd like my kid to trust me but to be able to make it on her own as well.
